Small and intimate and the most challenging and satisfying music around. Let's see how it progresses, but looking great. Grand piano; just two rows of seating. - National Press Club, 6-9pm EVERY FRIDAY (program). Free jazz on Friday ngihts in the Piano bar with ANU Faculty (best in town) rotating through the month. Wonderful! Blues on Thursdays. Not sure about Club entrance. (Last updated Feb 2011)

- Flint Dining Room & Bar, New Acton. 5-8pm EVERY SUNDAY. Sunday sessions with The Rivals (Stuart King g, Luke Sweeting kbd, Hugh Deacon d). Free entry and 2-for-1 cocktails. (Last updated Feb 2011)

- Dendy Cinema, Canberra Centre. 6pm EVERY MONDAY. Nice vocal trio including Luke Sweeting (pno), Phill Jenkins (bs), Natalie Magee (voc). Two sets widely dispersed, to match film times. Finishes ~9.30. Wines and drinks available, and decent movies. (Last updated Jan 2010)
